How to use the Address field type when creating or editing a Form

Adding to a Form

To add an Address Field to your form, simply click the Address button under Available Fields section, or click and drag it into the desired location in your form.

Once it is added to your form, you can toggle open the settings and edit the field. For this field type, you can:

  1. Change the Label.

  2. Set it as a Required field (adds a red asterisk next to the Label).

  3. Choose to make it Visible on Maps or not. 

  4. Choose it make it a Dynamic Address or not. This allows the system to use the zip-code to auto-populate the City and State. If you do not want that to happen, then deselect this option.

  5. Set the placeholder values for the Street, Street 2, Zip Code, City, and State

Filling out a Form

When filling out a form for a contact or group with an address field, it will appear as below. If you have selected the Dynamic Address option, when you fill out the zip code first, the system will auto-populate the City and State!
