A very common way to report on data, is to segment it by program enrollment.  When you are working with program enrollment fields, you have a unique set of options at your disposal.  You can filter by:

  1. Those who actively enrolled in a specific program during a designated period of time

  2. Those who were already enrolled for a specific program during a specific period of time

  3. Those who were only enrolled in one program during a specified period of time.

Select the Program Enrollment field:

In the left hand navigator, under "Person" you will find the selection for "Programs".  Drill down into that field and select "Programs Enrolled In".

This will bring up a column in your data pane called "Programs Enrolled In" with a filter icon, where you can make selections to segment data by program. Lets look at what options are available:

Those who actively enrolled in a specific program during a designated period of time:

If you want to explore date only for people who signed up for a program or were enrolled into a program during a specific period of time (not those who were already enrolled in that time period, but those who signed up in that period), you would need to do these 3 stesp:

  1. Enter the date range you need, and enter those dates in the date field.

  2. Enter the name of the program in the "search" field.

  3. Select the button "Newly Enrolled Clients" to get this data to show.

Those who were already enrolled for a specific program during a specific period of time:

If you want to select those who were already a part of a program (or who had recently enrolled), you can go through the same steps as above, but select "All contacts and any programs they were enrolled in" to retrieve data.

Those who were enrolled in at least one program during a specified period of time.

This option will give you data on those who were enrolled in at least one program during a certain timeframe.  You would typically want to use this filter if you are looking at all clients in your system, and filter out those who aren't associated with a program at all.

Program Display

You'll notice when you pull your program data, each program listed will appear in a string, separated by commas.  At this time there is no way to separate these out into separate columns.  If you need to explore this data, you will need to export to Excel and use tools there to separate out the data you need.
