The Report Builder pulls data out that has been entered through "form fields".  There are a variety of form fields in Vertical Change that will show your data a certain way and allow for certain types of filtering in the Report Builder.  Depending on what your reporting needs are, your Success Manager likely took those into consideration when configuring your system.

Date Fields

On the date field you'll see a filter button.  Click on it and the following options will appear:

Group by this field:  This means that when you check that box, you will see single instances of each date, and counts in the other columns.

Example:  If there were 12 lines of data on a service that happened on 1/1/2017 (maybe 12 different people came to a workshop on that date), if you select this box, you will see only one line with this date, and in other columns you'll see "12".   You would use this if you wanted to know things like, "Unique Number of Workshops".

Latest:  Selecting this will show you only the most recent entry per contact.  So if one contact went to a service 5x, when you select this box, it will only show you one line for that contact (the most recent date).

Filter by Date: Under this option you can choose a set of pre-set options

If you select "custom" you can enter dates through the online calendar or through the "from" and "to" fields.

Show age when form completed:  This field works only for dates related to birthdates.  You would need to select the birthdates (usually found in Common Fields) and select this button.  You will then see a separate column appear with the client's current age.  Read more about this feature here
